What genre or music do you listen to?

Just wanted to get a general consensus of who listens to what.

I'm a huge hip hop head, but have been getting into other genres such as old rock, jazz, punk rock, etc.

Mostly rock (60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and new stuff). Also some old rap (not the new stuff, with a few exceptions). But, also, I have this tendency to like individual songs, even if they lie in genres that I don't particularly like. For example, I like "Hell" by the Squirrel Nut Zippers, which is swing music, even though I don't listen to that kind of music at all. There is just something about that particular song.. I like it. And it's only that song.. I downloaded some of that band's other songs and I didn't like them at all.

What can I say... I'm strange.

I forgot to mention that I like swing music too. I just like the rhythm it brings. What are some good swing songs that I can download? One of my favorite swing songs is I Am Music by Common, who is a hip hop artist mixing it up with some swing, I love this song.
  • Man you guys lick, what about The Doors or Pink Floyd, those are my favs.
  • I like the Doors and Pink Floyd too. And I only lick girls. lmao
  • A bit of everything, mostly rock based, and a lot of it on the heavier side of things, but I also dig some stuff with prog rock leanings (Rush), some jazz (Mahavishnu, Art Blakey), funk, reggae and a little bit of hip hop. Lots of classic rock type stuff too like Jimi Hendrix (love all the remastered stuff), Steve Miller, and Black Sabbath. I'm play a bunch of different instruments, and have been playing drums in a hard rock band for the last 10 years.

Favourite bands include a bunch of stuff most people haven't heard of, mostly indie hard rock bands that never made it into bigger venues or got radio play. KYUSS!!!
