Party Poker Error?

Was clearing the "Pile up the Points" Promo at Party. Cleared it and got this email...

I think they mixed up the values..haha. I did get $50 credited to my account...any ideas if I should email back and ask for more?

Hell why not. If they messed up the email they wont give you the whole $600, but they may give you something because of the mix up.

Can't hurt to try. I had something like this happen at Party a couple years and go and they were actually pretty rude I suggested I wanted what they said I won.

Also had an online sportsbook/casino credit my account 2.4 Million. Needless to say they didn't let me make any withdrawals on it

Is it considered a legal written document? It's not like they made a mistake a automatically crediting my account with $632..I know I wouldn't be able to withdrawl that because it's not mine money. This on the other hands states that they knew about the credit to my account, but only credited $50. Once I get home tonight I'll email to request for the other $582 they owe me. See how they respond.

I'm guessing they will send you the rules for Hand-for-Hand play in tournaments.

That sounds about right.  Or maybe they'll point you towards their privacy policy, or their refer-a-friend program. 

BTW their email to me about this bonus points program stated that I received $5,074 in cash.  I did not receive $5,074 in cash.  But if you ever need to know anything about hand-for-hand play, I'm your man.

I sent them the quick reply below with their original email they sent me.

I received this email below. So far I have only received a credit of $50 to my account. According to the email I need another $582 more for a total of $632.

Please look into this.

It was not our intention to provide you with inaccurate information. However, as per the Party Points Cash Promotion, you have earned 590 regular party points for a $50 bonus and not vice versa. Hence I see that you have already received the amount in your account on 28-OCT-2005 10:33 EST.

This was an unusual circumstance, please be rest assured that our staff is always endeavoring to provide the best possible customer service.

I know they won't give me anymore cash but I'm going to ask for a license plate off their Party Points redemption page as a secondary prize haha

To updated: I told them I would accept the $50 they have already credited and I wanted a license plate free of charge for the inconvenience they have caused me.

You'll have to login if you have an account and goto the "general" section of merchandise. I guess I won't be getting anything from them. I'm not as "special" to them as all_aces or they have already cancelled cancelled the license plate product.
