What's with the Kilt Dave?

Hey Dave,
After reading about it and seeing some of your photo's, I am interested in why you chose a kilt as part of your WSOP gear?
Do you have Scottish roots? Pure "intimidation" Just a gag?

  • He wears it as an homage to all of those incredibly famous Scottish poker superstars.
  • Faster bathroom breaks...
  • I thought he had been hoping for the new "kilt" cam to be used to show us when he had the nuts.
  • Don't you mean 'holding the nuts'.
  • I don't like to comment on what a man does when he is holding the nuts. That's private.
  • I have always wanted a kilt.

It seemed like a good way to stand out in the crowd without being obnoxious.

I like to look my opponents menacingly, in the eye, and tell them: "Talk to the nuts."

I have just received my second kilt. So, now I have choices to make.
  • Cool
I was raised in a "bron in Canada, bred in Scotland" culture as both my Mom and Dad were born in Scotland a moved to Canada in their early twenties.
I am wearing a kilt this weekend at my buddies wedding and have worn them on a few other occasions - mainly weddings
They are way more comfortable than a tux and the Sporran (read Man Purse) rules!
    Cheers
