Hey, Hows it going, Just signed up for the forum, seems like a great resource. I am from Dresden Ont, close to Chatham and Sarnia, Anway I am young at 22, been playing in casino's since i was 19, getting more and more into this, its helping me pay for school. I frequent Point Edward charity casino in sarnia and Casino Windsor. Nice to meet everyone.

Quick question:

What does Casino Windsor and PECC offer in the way of poker tables/tournaments?

Everybody up here(KW) always talks about Fallsview, Niagara and Rama, so getting some info on Windsor would be nice for a change, since its only a 3 hour drive.

I have been to Casino Windsor, but that was before I was stricken with POKER MADNESS

lol, I visit Casino Windsor at least 3 or 4 times a month now that I work down there at least 1 week a month. I never played on the weekend but during the week they have low limit mostly: 3/6 4/8 and sometimes 5/10. $100 MAX NL $200 MAX or MIN NL. I'm not too familiar with the NL tables, I play mostly limit for fun.. its better then sitting in the motel room. I'll be there next week starting with Monday night.

I was just at PECC yesterday. They had 2 5/10 tables open, I put my name on the list, walked 4 paces away and my name was called. I looked at the Soup and asked who to complain to because of the long wait I had. Quite the contrary to GBH where I had a 3 hour wait the other day.

I was checking into Windsor Casino since I am moving to London soon and found that everyday they have a no-limit tourney at various times and various buy-ins. this is what the poker room manager sent me:

Monday-$50 buy-in....10 am start
Tuesday-$100 buy-in....4 pm start
Wednesday-$200 buy-in....noon start
Thursday-$100 buy-in....2 pm start
Friday-$100 buy-in....10 am start

Don't know how many tables..it does not say. Payout is as follows:

1st-45%
2nd-25%
3rd-15%
4th-10%
5th-5%

$2000 in chips....blinds increase every 20 minutes for the first three rounds then they go up every half hour.

Windsor is 2 hours from London witchdoctor, PECC and Brantford are closer if you are looking to hit up the casino.

True...I will be in Windsor a lot on busines though. What are the tourney schedules like at the other two casinos you mentioned??

PECC is starting up there Thursday night poker tournaments, its kinda crap though, you have to sign up in person at 8:30am that day, tourney is at 6pm, so u basically have to live in sarnia and be retire, or unemployed, i believe its a $115 buy in. I was at Sarnia last night, played like shit but still picked up a few hundred. 5/10 is basically the only game going there and it is bingo. But they do comp u on ur poker play which is cool.
