Anyone else going to check out the Harvest Poker Classic next month?  I believe all of Team Canuck will be there, and it would be great to hang out with some forum people as well.  The main event is a 1K freezeout this year.  Sweeeeet.

    I was planning on being there, but then I found out it wouldnt be televised...plus, the River Rock tournaments are 5 days after, and they are much bigger tournaments so Im not sure if I want to subject myself to that much travelling.

    P.S. were any of you guys other then Bob Jarrett in Edmonton for the CPT events this past week?

    Not televised?  I would have thought they'd be all over a 1K buy-in tournament, but like you said, the River Rock tournaments probably overshadow it.

    I don't think any TCP members were in Edmonton besides Bob.  Bob is hardcore and unstoppable... damn tough to beat.  We like to send him out and then live vicariously through him.

    Were you there, and if so, how did you do?

    Busted out early in the $200 Omaha Hi Event
    Busted out 30th in the $300 Limit Hold'em Event out of 150ish players i think
    Busted out early in the $100 Rebuy Event...flopped bottom two...get it all in on the flop, villain turns kicker...bleh.
    Busted out 28th in the $1000 Main Event

    I did decent in the side action winning all of my buy-ins back and then some. Was actually playing 10/20 PL Dealers choice with Bob for a bit. But for the most part settled for the 20/40 kill games. We didnt get any 30/60 or 40/80 going which was dissapointing for a tournament of this size.

    No, he was referring to how he did at the recent CPT event.
