Help me! Monitor question...

I bought an LCD TV and need someone to tell me how to hook it up as a computer monitor.
The sales guy said it can be done but I am drawing dead trying to figure it out.

Any help would be great!

    Does it have a DVI input and does your video card have DVI output?

    I guess the proper question is what inputs does the TV have and what outputs does your video card have?

    It has the right output/inputs. It is the setting that I cant get to work.

    What brand name is it? Did any software come with the TV?

    Try channel 3. Ya channel 3 always works.

    The TV must have a setup menu. Do you get just a blue screen? Change the input setting to the correct one.
