Angle shot or not?
On Tuesday morning I got an email from Team Canuck’s Ralph Mair. He was in Winnipeg and was planning on playing the local tournament on Tuesday night. I emailed to say “I will trade you 10% of my action on Wednesday night in Saskatoon for 10% of your action Tuesday night in Winnipeg.†I did not hear from him until Wednesday morning when he wrote:
“Without telling you how I did you can still have this agreement if you wish.
Great tournaments, $4,400 to the winner with only 88 players maximum. Rebuy madness with nobody being shy to rebuy and shove chips into the middle ... darn near poker heaven!â€
So, I am being asked to make a trade with a player who already knows his result. My co-host on the radio suggested that “Ralph is your friend, he is not trying to screw you.†A noble sentiment, but Ralph is also a poker player and I am certain that he would be happy to give me the shiv.
Should I take the deal?
