Student fare for greyhound is 40% off the regular price.
  • There has to be a tour operator somewhere in Toronto offering buses. From K/W we can get free or $5-$10 bus rides to Rama, Niagara, Windsor and Point Edward.
  • There are two buses that I know of. One departs from the Days Hotel at Carleton/Yonge and is $25 but supposedly you get 20 back... I've never taken it. The travel agent inside sells tickets. I think it comes back at odd hours.

The other leaves from Spadina just north of queen. I don't know the rates but I see lineups there several times a day.

The worst thing about bus trips is if you get stuck at 4am and don't feel like springing for a hotel or heaven forbid you're broke-- you have to wait until the AM for the next trip... I know at Rama they comp you a limo etc if you play enough but I have no idea about the falls.

Comp you a limo playing poker?
  • I know of some players that have cashed in their player's card points for limos-- the guy played blackjack as well as poker so who knows.

Where is this service available? I would be interested in trips to Niagara.
  • I took a bus from Spadina and Dundas. Cost $25 (non Niagara/Fallsview Member) and $7 if you are a member. Not sure what it was called (not Taipan, or Safeway though)...
  • When you say member do you mean that you are in the "Players Club"?

    Thanks

yes thats the one i'm looking for.. i remember having a flyer for that cheap bus to fallsview, but i misplaced that flyer. now i cant seem to find that flyer anymore.. it was a neon green flyer, they had it with all the other tourist pamplets/flyers. anyone else know details about this bus?
  • Thanks Moose!! anything helps with the crazy gas prices and the damn session fees on th NL tables at Niagara.

Maybe I can walk across the border and get some free drinks and play some session fee free poker at Seneca. :D
  • It would probably only take you about 10-15 minutes from Casino Niagara.
