  • Given you can only see your hand and one opponents (and the flop)... the probability of the remaining 2 queens coming on the turn & river is = 1 / (45 choose 2) = 1/990

The probability of any 2 players holding pocket aces depends on the number of players at the table.
    At a 10-player table = (10 choose 2) / ( 52 choose 4) = .000166220334 = ~1/6016

Given you are dealt pocket aces, the odds of an opponent having AA (at a 10-person table) is...
    = 9 / (50 choose 2) = .00734693878 = ~1/136

The villain flopped top pair, depending on what your table image was, and depending what limit you were playing, it might be hard to push an agressive player off of his top pair.
  • Talking about odds I seen 3 players all in pre-flop with one have AA, the other having KK and the third having QQ. Aces held up.

I folded my crapy 2-9 off and of course 3 nines cam out on the table.
  • MickeyHoldem, I think you forgot to take into account the probability that human life evolved on Earth.

If for some bizzare reason people are interested in calculating probabilities ex post, just where exactly are we supposed to stop looking back? To the cards being shuffled? The beginning of the session? The very first hand of Texas holdem that was ever played? The time playing cards were first invented? The Mesozoic Era?

The original probability question about pocket Aces lacks statistical meaning, since it was (with high probability) formed after the fact. I observe two players being dealt four exact cards quite often in (properly dealt) games of (Texas) holdem.

    Grammar narc.

The OP kinda reminded me of Ben Stiller explaining the death of Jack Black's horse in 'Envy'.
