  • 1. Jennifer Harmon...winning at the biggest cash games for years
    2. Phil Ivey...winning at the biggest cash games for less time
    3. Doyle Brunson...cashing in on the poker boom at the twilight of his career by putting out SS2 and just reprinting 1/2 of SS1 and useless basics from other forms of poker lmao.
  • Phil Ivey - expressionless(always)
Howard Lederer - All Around great player/Thinker
Daniel Nagranieu - great table personality/ great player reader
  • Phil Ivey - so intimidating
Daniel Negreanu - great reader, and he's Canadian
Gus Hansen - pure entertainment - the way he frustrates all the other pros is just fun to watch
  • Gus Hansen - fun to watch, unlike those expressionless players who wear sunglasses and hat and just plain stare. love watching his facial expressions
Daniel Negreanu - Canadian, but as said many times, great reader
Phil Ivey - almost complete opposite of Gus, but still great to watch with play and intimating factor
  • Phil Ivey - absolute stone, excels at both tourney and cash games

Helmuth - as big of a baby as he is, he is a great player and no one exits a game better than Phil...^%*(, g6809-, "if there wasn't luck involved I'd win all of these tourneys"

Gus Hanson- I can't imagine not enjoying watching the guy play, creative as hell and gotta love a guy that probably can't spell "tight is right"
  • Gus and Daneil for sure... but if you guys like these two...
you kinda have to inlcude Lane Flack...

I kinda like guys that make alot of Post Flop play.... they liven it up a little

"2-3? Im all in", famous quote from WSOP 2006
  • Can I post 2 lists? :) The 3 I enjoy watching the most are Hansen and Negreanu for their aggressiveness and creativity, and Helmuth for the comic value (he's good, but his blow-ups are better!). However, for trying to learn/improve, I need players a bit closer to my own style, so I need to tighten up my list a lot (probably Lederer, Harrington, Cloutier).
  • 1-  Paul Darden -  Dont no what hes got ever plays any hand like there aces
2- Howard ledderr - Just soo good readind the players
3- Scott Fishcman - very underated but by far one of the worlds best
  • 1. Ivey - never seems to play himself out...seems to get beaten by bad beats most of the time.
    2. Hansen - for a guy who plays alot of hands, still seems to win consistently and not look like a donkey
    3. Scotty Ngyuen - his line "you call and it's all over baby" , that line is money

    97847908089232. Myself!
  • Gus Hansen - most entertaining player ever
Alexander Stevic - awesome bluffer, fearless
Isabelle Mercier - gotta put a sister on the list.

    could not agree more!
  • 1) Hellmuth - What can I say, his skills at reading players are legendary. A true poker genius love him or hate him.
    2) Daniel Negreanu - Love his aggressiveness and personality. A poker rockstar from Canada!
    3) T.J. Cloutier - The quintessential tournament specialist. How can you not like a guy that played in the CFL?
  • Gus Hansen - fun to watch everyone else play against him
Phil Laak - entertaining to watch but must be annoying to play against
Doyle Brunson - Have to respect a guy who has been doing it for so long and was a former track/basketball star
  • Thanks folks.

Looks like Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth and Daniel are most favoured. Imagine sitting in table with these guys, you'll have your work cut out for ya! I'd be most intimidated by Gus Hansen, he plays anything like pocket rockets and he hardly folds to raises, and yes re-raises with trash hole cards.

    :c: :d: :rage::s: :h:
  • Gus, Daniel, and Phil Ivey. I just love these guys' aggression and creativity. They're hard to figure out and are very intimidating players to have at your table.

I'll also throw in Mike the Mouth and Hellmuth for comedic purposes, and they are also great poker players.
  • Daniel
    Gus
and....Brandon Schaefer - i think this man has SERIOUS skill and will make moves in the future
  • I made up my mind.....GUS HANSEN All the way....aggressive and fearless...plays anything and mixes his game perfectly.........does he ever play tight?

    :c: :d: :rage::s: :h:
  • I gotta go for Gus h , Daniel n , and my third choice is the robin hood of poker barry g . the fact he gives all his winnings to charity is amazing.
  • Agreed.

    1) Gus Hansen - what you get when you cross a psychic with a supercomputer! :D
    2) Daniel Negreanu - well-deserved 2004 Player of the Year and the Gretzky of Poker.
    3) Howard Lederer - only player to be able to compete with Hansen in the Superstars Invitational.
    I gotta go for Gus h , Daniel n
  • I gotta go with three. Im gonna put ones i have met or played against.
    not in any particular order:

    1) rob mizrachi. guy is a poker machine. scary really. He taught me alot about the game, and i was on hand firsthand to see him take down a first prize of half a million. Really opened my eyes.

    2) noah b for sure. guys young, and having a great time of life, but at the table he is scary. he really could beat anyone if he really focused and things went his way, and i mean that non-ambigiously. i see him all the time playin and he really impresses me.

    3) gotta go with a canadian for one so im gonna say devin. he is a monster as well. considering he has a job and a wife and a life, this guy is good. I think he should go on the tour for a year at least just for the hell of it. backing would be easy for him.

I got another 500 tied but just wanted to mention these three here and now.
  • I like the professor Howard lederer for his instincts and Men the Master for enjoying playing when he is drunk!

    :c: :d: :rage: :h:
  • Gus hansen- Aggressive , and a smart crazy person, lol.
Phill hellmuth- The best reader around, and does what everyone wants to do when they lose, lol.
Daniel negraneau- Great attitude yet knows how to use that to his advantage.
  • If we can pick dead guys too:

Stu Ungar: played like an animal
Phil Hellmuth: I love his attitude
Dan Harrington: the man is brilliant.
  • daniel n
    phil ivey
    phil hellmuth

Schaefer - Is this the guy with the grapefruit on the European Tou?. He's American, right? Wonder when he'll come back to North America?
  • Hellmuth
ItsaMario -- If he plays it blind or even if he looks at the cards they are almost the same. :)
Lou - He's been to 3 big ones he must be doing something right.
  • Doyle Brunson - the grand daddy of poker. still kicking butt in his 70's
Chip Reese - wish we got to see more big time cash games and less tourney poker on tv
Mike Matusow - crazy pick but the guy is real. wears it on his sleeve.
  • Daniel
    Gus
    Teddy KGB
