World Series of Poker coverage on ESPN

here's a link to what ESPN is doing this year. Check the schedule link, they are covering a lot of the events in addition to the main event we all know and love. Great to see poker coverage on the rise! I hope TSN shows us all the shows with little delay...

ESPN's 2004 WSOP coverage starts this Tuesday with these 2 shows:

July 6 9-10PM World Series of Poker: $2,000 No Limit Hold 'Em

July 6 10-11PM World Series of Poker: $1,500 7 Card Stud

I just checked TSN.ca and no poker in sight. :mad:

Too bad we don't get ESPN. I was reading RGP, and it seems as though the WSOP broadcast has picked up sponsors. I'm only going by what I read, but there is:

The "Miller High Life Pocket Cam"

The "Miller High Life Rules of the Game" (one joker remarked that the Miller High Life Rules of Texas Hold'em sound a lot like those of the game he plays...)

The "Toyota Chip Count"

Too funny. Poker has come a long way.

FYI, just saw the WSOP ESPN ep#1 and ep#2 on suprnova...quite a few seeds out there...it seems pretty popular.
