Unsuitable was all over the place this tournament including tripling up on the first hand (he had AA) and losing all of those chips to get back to 1500ish within 10 hands after.  His play was quite erratic as can be seen here, but I guess the interesting question is what should he actually do once his complete bluff is raised and called by another player.

Two points of the hand where I am most curious for opinions

*** FLOP *** [Kc 7h 6c]
Unsuitable: bets 1250
gchoate17: raises 95 to 1345 and is all-in
tempermental: folds
JJTK: calls 1345
Unsuitable: calls 95

The call of 95 chips here is probably correct even though he likely needs runner runner straight, trips or 2 pair to have a chance at winning. I don't think anyone played their hand well on the flop.

However what about this play

*** TURN *** [Kc 7h 6c] [Qd]
Unsuitable: bets 173 and is all-in

Now 173 chips wont make anyone fold obviously and already another is all in.  I guess my question is should he actually just check and fold knowing that he is probably drawing dead, or should he check/call given that 173 chips is pretty hopeless (though still greater then 0).  I guess I found betting to be wrong even though its unlikely if he checks the next person will (though he did eliminate any chance of that happening by betting).

I just found it interesting how this pretty silly bluff (given it did not even have a draw to make it a semi bluff) trapped this person into a strange situation where I'm still not entirely sure of how it should have been played once a person is stuck there.  Comments are appreciated.

  • Was that a freeroll? The play is so horrible... i guess the guy who folded on flop was the smartest one in that hand =)
