  • Just looking at this myself...headed to vegas next week and will likely put some coin on a few teams.

Was (am) bullish on Baltimore, but was hoping for a better price...they should be a 20/1 shot and I would be in like a dirty shirt.
I am selling the eagles short - 4/1 is a joke - they outta be 10/1. The run is over. Perhaps a perception that NFC is weak is propping them up to 4/1.
Green Bay at 12/1 is no good - again a popular team so the bookies rape you on it. 20/1 for them more reasonable.
Can't believe Cowboys are 15/1 with Bledsoe at quarterback. Am I missing something? What, was Jeff Hostedtler unavailable?
No way indy is worth a bet at 4/1...no defense and if they don't get home field it is OVER. Maybe 7/1 for INdy.
Like Minnesota at 7/1...weak NFC...but they need home field.

Dark horses - Carolina good value at 17/1 and Buffalo if they stay at 20/1 (I suspect this will be 15/1 when I hit vegas).
Detroit is another sleeper...obviously not a favourite to win it all, but 40/1 is handsome and if they ever made it in the weak NFC, they would be home for the super bowl. WIll score points and defense improving.

Oh, and btw, bears at 40/1....ummmm, I will lay that if anyone wants it. Anyone? Bueller? Anyone? Up to $100...anyone?
  • Finally a response!!! Woohoo!!

I agree that Phillies run is over. Or maybe they'll pull a Buffalo and get to the Superbowl again.....and lose again. (Sorry Bills fans)

Minnesota is a great bet. They have improved greatly.

But New England will probally keep up the Dynasty. They're ability to win games every year, with the changes in the off-season, totally amazes me. (And disappoints me, I'm a Fish fan :'(:rage::'()

So, my amateurish pick for the Superbowl is the Pats over the Vikings 31-10.

    Any others thoughts?

  • Yeah, our Dolphins are not looking like the 72 undefeated team again this year. :D

Looking at the odds...hmmmmm....The Jets look good at 17-1, only problem is they have to play the Patriots.

I really think that Indy may break through this year. Stop Laughing.
The Pat's lost both coordinators and maybe they won't be able to get home field thoughout the playoffs. If they have to play in Indy then who knows.

In the NFC I really like the Panthers. With all the Injury's they had last year and still finished 6-2...they should come out with Philly.
But if T.O shuts up and plays...Philly wins. That guy might actually be worth all the trouble...he's that good.

Here is the BCC55 Sleeper of the year... New Orleans Saints. They have to put up or they will all be shipped out.

Whatever, this is the NFL we're talking about so who knows...anyone can win at anytime.
