K-W Poker Library
I had thought about this before, but Wolffhounds comment (http://www.pokerforum.ca/forum/index.php?board=12;topic=5442.3#msg45166) spurred me to action. Since I'm very new to poker, I'm trying to read up as much as I can to get started. However, the public library appears to have pretty bad taste, and books aren't cheap. I was wondering if any of the local players who have a few books would be interested in some sort of loan/swap program? As I'm new, it might be preferable if someone a little better known runs it, and any "rules" interested parties have would need to be figured out (how to handle loss or major damage, etc.). A big benefit would be sharing costs. For example, I'm planning on picking up Harrington Vol. 1 next, but if someone has it (and I could read it for free) I could purchase a different book not available through our "group library". Is anyone interested in something like this, or have any ideas?
If not, and anyones interested in a private arrangement (loan me your books! ), just PM me.
To start, the books I have are "Doyle Brunsons Super System" and "Winning at Poker" (Dave Scharf).

I was planning on getting Harrington's books next, since I think that would help my game the most right now. I really enjoyed the excerpt from "The Banker, The Pro and The Suicide King", though, and it sounded like a great read outside of the self-improvement stream, though. Since it sounds like both of Harrington's books are (or will be) available for loan (between you and Redington), I'll grab that (if nobody else has it already), and get it into circulation.
