Going to Niagara on Saturday

I'm going to Niagara on Saturday. Could anyone give me some info on the two card rooms there? I am comfortable with the $5/$10 in Brantford. Is the $5?$10 there any different in terms of toughness (or weakness i should say lol)? I will be there from about 1pm to 1am. Is there any deals if I sign up for a players card? Also how long are the waits there at around that time. Any info really would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

  • You won't find a game higher then 4/8 at the old casino (Casino Niagara) and Fallsview spreads 6/12 as the lowest limit.

Also, you can do a search to find out all you ever wanted to know about the two casinos.
  • Go play 6/12, it's a beautiful game! :D
  • In what way is it a beautiful game?

Well, from what I experiences the few time's I've played it is that it's not a 1/2 chip game like 5/10.
Dispite throwing in only an extra 1 or 2 dollars people think more because they have to put more chips in the pot, making things seem different.
The play there was 'fair' at best, it's an easy game to beat.

When I played, there were a few people that would tilt REALLY easily if you beat them with your 10Js vs there A6o (flopping the A high straight and having him cap it all the way down ... I wasn't complaining).
I think he said after the hand "I knew you didn't have a bigger A" :D
  • I think the Niagara/Fallsview games are mint!!! Just play tight but aggressive...ONLY PREMIUM CARDS!! Be prepared to fold on the flop if you miss. "Having a little piece" will cost you a lot on these games.

Very well put, I've lived it and learned it.  Now I know it and earn(ed) from it. (end of poor pathetic attempt at poetry)
