River Rock tournaments
Searched and found a few threads on the River Rock, but most are old or don't have many responses.
Has anyone played in their tournaments? I requested their schedule and got a nifty little PDF that included tournaments on Mondays (20+3), Wednesdays (25+5 rebuy/addons, 90+10 and 50+10 depending on the day), Thursdays (30+4) and Saturdays (150+15). Just wondering about the usual sort of stuff (quality of players, how is the structure, etc etc).
Any info on the tournaments and/or NL cash games would be greatly appreciated. Also, do any of the other Vancouver area casinos have poker rooms worth checking out?

if you emial them they will send you an updated schedule every month
the structure all vary from the buy in the earlybird tournaments 20 and 30$ buy ins start you with 1000 chip with 25/50 blinds
the 90+10 starts you with 2500 with 25/25 blind
150+20 gets you 5000 w/25/50 blinds
and the 250+20 gets you 10000 w/25/50 blinds
the cash games at the river rock get very loose and crazy and the NL games are a mixed bag the 1/2nl only allows for a 100max buy in which imo dosnt give you any room to work but the 3/6nl is a fairly solid game.
as for other casinos cascades in langley has a 1/2 nl with a 200 max buy in and a 3/6nl with a 500 buy in
