Challenge to LEE the Champion
Hi Lee, I played you in the finals at the west side poker heads up $120 double knockout. It was a great event and Lee beat me fair and square in the finals. I'm not going to fault his play despite the fact i question it. Instead I'm willing to accept your challenge and I don't even want 2:1. 1:1 is fine. I will play for any amount you wish and I mean ANY amount. Please get back to me at markradoja1@hotmail.com or 5195463777.
Lets have some fun guys and may the best player win.

To speak with the great one, you must climb the highest mountain, abstain from food and water, purge yourself of mortal sins, and consult your spirit guide.
Or maybe stuff your head so far up your ass, you wear yourself as a hat (not a slant on you, just an observation on some of Leequinox's posts)

I promise to be good!
LEE PERSON, I dont even know you, but if you ever wanna play ONLINE for WATEVER lets please play. Stars 5k hu, UB 5k hu or UB hu 300 600 I DONT CARE. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE play me 1:1 is GREAT.

Certainly not the man who offers to lay 2:1 odds on a heads up match against any taker. Oh no.
But rather the man who DECLINES the generous offer of 2:1 and instead says I'll settle for even money. Wake up people.
This is not a catch and release program we are operating here.
This stuff doesn't happen in Toronto. I think I need to move to K/W...
As for harthgosh's plea--which was extremely entertaining in its own right--I'm not sure that these big-limit games should be sorted out online. The problem is, here you have a guy (Lee) who has been saying things like 'I knew a seven was coming because I hadn't seen many dealt in the last few hands' etc. Naturally, you want to play Lee. (Of course, he could be a very good player who doesn't believe any of the flawed thinking he is sharing with us here, in order to try and set us up. But for the moment, let's pretend he is how he represents himself.)
So you want to play Lee, but the only way you'll do it is online, because you trust the online shuffle. (Which, given the texture of some of your previous posts, is in itself unusual, but we'll leave that for now. I guess I should say that you trust the online shuffle MORE than you would trust some private club's dealer, which makes sense.) The problem is, how do you know you're playing Lee? He could hire someone to play for him.Â
There are just too many about-faces and changes to terms and lines thrown out that are TOO much like "I'm a fish please come take my money" to make me believe that this isn't some kind of a set-up. It's designed to get to people where they are most vulnerable--their egos--in order to possibly blind them to the facts of the situation, which are sketchy, to say the least.
Super entertaining though. Good on Lee (and his challengers) for posting some interesting stuff in the 'home games' section! Now, if anything comes of all this, let's hope nobody loses their bankroll due to their ego. And if they do, let's hope they lose it in a fair game.
I was doing my part to spoof in a way this retarded thread. If he did want to play me online, thats no problem, but yea he would actually be playin Noah or Rob M. So the offer still stands.
And insofar as 1:1 vs 2:1 at these limits, I dont see anyone realistically offering this, but if someone as apparently BAD as Lee is really wants to test his limits, I dont mind takin 1:1 on 5k hu's.
I would never decline 2:1 if it were a 100% real proposition. DUH
I think that the offer of playing for a 1 to 1 playout is not so unreasonable. You've got to consider the probabilities of the two different tournaments actually happening.
It is absolutely clear that there is no debate on this from a theoretical point of view. Getting a 2 to 1 payout is better than 1 to 1, all else being equal.
If you think that someone going through with a 2 to 1 payout tournament are nearly nil, but figure that there is at least some chance of him playing you for 1 to 1 (where you still believe you have a large edge), it makes much more sense to offer to play the guy at 1 to 1.
Unfortunately we're not in "Theroretical Happy Land" where people always do the things they say, or generally keep their word. Just because somebody gets on an internet forum and says they will play such and such tournament for a 2 to 1 payout does not make it a reality. "Wake up people."
Here's an example.
I will play all comers for 100 to 1 payout odds in No-Limit dice rolling. (I am only interested in playing for $5,000 or more, so if you do not want to play me, I will be forced to call you a chicken as if I was in Kindergarten.) I win if a 6 is rolled, you win otherwise. You may supply your own (6 sided) die. If you wish, you may get a monkey to roll the die to ensure fairness.
Would you be the "stupidest of them all" by offering me a shot at this format at the 1 to 1 payout level if you thought I knew not quite enough about probability that I would go for it at 1 to 1, but just enough about probability that I would realize that 100 to 1 was a bad deal?
In fact, you would even be correct to offer to play me at the "fair" price and lay me 1 to 5 yourself, since there are still ways to generate an egde in this format, and I'd probably be even more inclined to actually play you.

And, your point about how NO player is good enough to overcome 2:1 is a valid one. I was working under the assumption that harthgosh wasn't kidding in his OP, and that he'd be willing to play 5K hu matches 1:1 against someone who claimed to be this Lee guy. I was wrong, HG was kidding.
Now, with all that being said, I gotta get myself down to KW to get in on some of this action. It looks like you guys play for more than just cash... the bragging rights are off the chart! That appeals to me for some reason. Zithal, please organize another forum tournament soon!
I thought that none of you were man enough for 100 to 1 payout $5,000 No-limit dice rolling, and I guess I was right.
If anyone actually IS interested in taking on the No-limit dice rolling champ of Canada (it's me... DUH!) let me know.
ScottyZ <--- NOT a chicken you chickens!
And Scotty, man, the no-limit dice-rolling game is too HEAVY for my CHICKEN SHIT ASS. I can't take the heat, I'm soooooooo out of the kitchen mutha brotha OUT!
what's funny is, as much as I want to challenge you, i can't scrape together 5,000 to bet it wont come up 6. i am soooooooooo chicken.
This post is strictly FOR Lee to know that i do not want his 2:1 odds, i just want to play him fair and square. I have already had west side poker club offer the same destination (mississauga) me and Lee played against eachother in the finals of the heads up challenge. Lee won and I just want to play him a few more games as a sort of rematch. I will play for any amount lee wishes.
That is what this thread is for, please do not post here unless you can add to this.
Thank you and gl.
Now that's some funny shit! I gotta come around more often..
No it's just my thread and I wanna stay on topic so I actually get to play Lee.
Anyways I think we got something in motion now so I'll let you guys knwo what happens.
