$500 and $1000 casino chips

Can anyone confirm the colors of the above. I am thinking the $500 is orange and the $1000 is purple. Any one confirm what is being used in the casinos.

Thanks,

Joe

  • I don't know about casinos, but I usedd the following for determining home game colors:

    Yup.
I asked the floor one day about 1000s, he said it was either orange or yellow (I think he said orange tho)
  • Most casinos use purple for the $500 chips. Orange and yellow I've seen used for the $1K chips. I actually have an orange chip as part of my chip collection however it's only 50 cents..... LOL
  • Purple $500 - Barneys
    Orange $1000 - Pumpkins

  • And $5000 chips are grey with yellow.

The $1000 and $5000 chips are also larger in circumference then all other denominations (at least at Casino Niagara and Fallsview).
