Point Edward My First Time (long)
Made my first journey to Point Edward on Friday evening. This was my first "real" casino experience. I had a lot of fun and thought that the dealers were very good...though $5/$10 is the highest limit they spread, so I guess you get their best dealers. I had a great time and hope to make it out again very soon (free time makes it tough for me to play much offline).
First we (myself and a friend who has been there often) chose Point Edward since they allow you to be able to call ahead and we are an hour from both Brantford and Point Edward while two plus hours from the rest of the casinos.
I have never ever ventured into Point Edward the town let alone the casino and for the most part the town (?) seemed very nice. Once we got into the casino we checked in and were told we were waiting on a couple more players and would be opening a new table. So we have about fifteen minutes to kill so knowing we were going to eat at some point in the evening we check out the menu at the bar (there is a restaurant as well, which virtually has the same menu as it turns out) and notice right away that there two prices for every item. One for "Winner's Circle Members" and regular price. I make an executive decision to track down where to get me a "Winner's Circle Card". Well we look high and low through the casino area and see nothing...so I wander over to the security both since there were two guards sitting there doing nothing. I figured they would quickly point me in the right direction....well nope I had my only real unimpressive situation happen. One of the security guards decides he's going to be a penis head and give me a hard time. Finally, I squeeze out him (ooowwwweee) that it is back where we came in (ooowwweee).
All that dicking around wasted all of our free time because our names were now being called out over the P.A. but at least I was going to save $2 later. Hmmm, to save $2 for 15 min of time equals about a $8/hr play or .8 BB/hr. .
So we head over to our table and take a seat. Everyone gets settled and buy-ins. As an interesting note almost everyone bought in for $200. I started to think that maybe I was going to be playing with some players...lol. I was lucky enough to start off in the BB but nothing interesting happens except I confirm my expectations...a loose passive table with five minimum seeing the flop...which is fine I will play accordingly.
Well, after a few bad beats I’m stuck for nearly $150. Liking the table a lot I buy-in for another $100 (keeping me around 20 BB), then another $100 (again keeping me around 20 BB). Ouch, I keep getting premium hands and getting smoked by the community cards. Oh well I know that this table is full of, how would Scotty say it, DONKEYS, so I stick to my guns and keep plugging away.
A few hours later I am finally close to even when Johnny Suit comes to tell us that our five handed table has to broken up since there four seats open among the other two tables. We had been playing short handed for quite some time (which suits me very well). He then tells us that unless we decide amongst ourselves that we would high card for seats but my buddy said he was ready to go anyway.
We then hit the restaurant for our discounted food and head home. As it turns out the .8 BB/hr I saved dicking around getting a card were my most profitable 15 min of the night!
All in all I had a great time and without the nasty start I walk out with 30 BB plus. Here’s situation I am not sure what to do with and would love your input.
Here’s the situation:
Your on the button in a five handed game ($5/$10 limit) and you are far and away the most aggressive player at the table. Everyone limps to you with a small suited connector. Now I thought about raising but decided to just call thinking that I will make more if I hit my hand. The SB completes and BB raises with everyone calling behind. Now with five to the flop I hit a full house on a two suited board. SB checks, BB bets, and everyone calls to me. What do you do here? Call or Raise?
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the show...I can’t wait ‘til my next adventure.

I think I would raise.
The reasons being if players are chasing the flush chances are they will call you can chase it the whole way. Also I find at low limit game most weak players will call until the turn and then will only see about folding so if that is the case then at least 1/2 will call that raise (Making up for the ones that fold). Also because the BB is being aggressive a raise by you here should give you some idea on what cards he has. Might as well try to get as much money in the pot with the full house while you can.
Actually, in a 5-handed game where everyone has already limped, I think this is a close decision between calling and folding. Unpaired small cards (suited or not, connected ot not) are a weak holding in a short-handed game. On the other hand, limping along in a family pot is fine with a hand that has some potential.
Easy call. Again, I see no reason to raise here with an implied odds hand.
This is an absolute bread and butter low-limit poker play. You should raise for value here with no question.

I know the preflop call was loose...but hey...I guess I may be a little loosey goosey!
On the flop I raised and picked up two callers loosing the original raiser:-( The turn and river were checked to me where I bet and was called. I wonder if we all call flop if I get the raiser to continue betting into the full field on the turn where I could get more? But in general it seems that you all agree raising the flop is the right time with a full field.
Again thanks!
So the question I have is what did the callers have?
