NL at the Casino Niagara, crazy
So I played 1/2 NL at Niagara, I think typically it's not what I experienced but the dealers definately need to control their tables.
Anyway so I get a table and I notice people talkin crap to each other like crazy, theres this one guy who looks like he just came out of jail. He needles me just as a sit down by saying "you better have balls at this table and not get in my way". Whatever, I think, gotta deal with this kinda stuff if you play poker.
So as the play continued people start doing some crazy stuff, all in blind for about $150-250 (happened 3 times in a row once), a whole bunch of sucks outs which is part of poker of course but people start mouthing about stepping outside...... at this point I'm thinking am I playing at an underground casino or am I at a real casino? Through all the craziness, the dealers just sat idle and let everything happen.....
I know having crazy loose players is good cause you can slow play and catch good hands and so on.... but it was pretty much all gambling no actual "playing"... not sure if I'm complaining or not but basically I thought it was pretty crazy......

Only played limit at Fallsview, waiting sucks there cause you have to stay close in the area.
The game play is very loose and there is a ton of money to be made at 1/2 NL. Nothing beats tourists with deep pockets and no clue how to play poker. I'll be there again this Thursday fatening my bankroll

I played at the 2/5 NL prior to this and the gameplay was much better. The 1/2 NL has a lot of fishes which I understand you can take advantage of but there are a lot of suck outs.
I agree with the Fallsview part, the managers or whatever are so busy with their crappy waiting list system, the don't really care about the player. I went up to the manager or guy doing the waiting list and asked if my name came up, he told me my name had already passed. I was like wtf? I was waiting the whole time and just went to the washroom, just as I was about to complain, he called my name........
It was a new table starting up when I got there. I played tight for a bit and after a while I was table capitan, but not the normal type of capitan, I was controlling the dealer.
We had one hand, where post from, 5 players were all in, the dealer looked like she was going to freak out.
I just said "Leave all the money where it is, DON'T touch it"
She gave me a strange look.
I said "If you want to make 5 side pots, go ahead ..."
She then clued in that it would take her 10 mins to straighten everything out.
Result, the guy with the most chips ended up winning, the dealer thanked me because she just had to give everyone's chips to one guy and no splits were needed.
The all in's were crazy though, one guy on 2 over cards, one on mid pair + A, one on gutshot straight draw, one on backdoor flush with 1 over, and the guy with all the money ... top set ... lol.
I had 2nd pair with a gutshot straight draw ... can't remember the board tho.
3 people were all-in in front of me, I was like "well, I think I have the ... wait ... fuck no ... fold
