Seneca Review....

Well, I went to the new poker room in Niagara Falls New york yesterday, 2 days after it's original opening. Overall impression, very well put together. 14 tables , they spread stud, Omaha 8, and hold-em, 2-4, 3-6, 5-10 , 10-20, 15-30, 20-40 and a no-limit ( minimum $100, max $200 buy-in) . Lots of noise and excitment at the no-limit. nice thing is if you want a certain game the casino execs. will try and see i there is interest and start it up, thats how the no limit started.

They really cater to the players. Free booze, they bring out sandwich trays every 4-6hrs ( FEEDING FRENZY), and when we were playing short handed I asked for a break on the rake, they dealt for free for 45 minutes till they had 7 players.

I didn't really have any expectations for a new room , but I was suprised that so many people new so many others from the area home games and Turning stone casino. I saw some familiar faces from Brantford and the area, but I sorta thought it would be easy pickins the first little while. I played for 8 hours and some some clueless people come and go, but overall the game was a grind and competition formidable.(5-10, 10-20) Mind you it may have been the time as well ( monday afternoon-evening) only the degenerates are playing this time of the week , me included. We will see what its like on a weekend, hopefully a little looser.
