around 10 money finishes...1 bubble to FT...damn...but getting closer...an expensive poker education though.

my very first was a $5 tourny @absolute - 245ppl, which got me $350
i won a 300man B&M tourny @ the sahara in vegas a few months ago for $2k
and ive finsihed 1st in a couple 200 man events on the cyrpto sites netting about 6-700$ combined...
ive also won numerous $30, 30man mtts on party, which pay about $250
as far as actual wins, thats it

Would u mind providing more details about the sahara tourney? Buying, rebuys, structure, competition (weak, average etc). Was this the midnight tourney or during the day?

Did you play anyo other tourneys at other casinos...any comments? I'm going next month and am planning a whirlwind tourney tour - 4 or 5 tourneys in 4 or 5 different rooms...but given the plethora of choices i don't want to play any that aren't worth my while (i.e. poor structure all-in bingo fests, shitty management, poor atmosphere, etc).

thanks, and the tourny was a great experience...
it was a $40 buyin, with 1 $20 rebuy allowed... the blinds went up pretty slowly, and the competition was pretty weak (great combo)...
there were a few great players, but i picked up some great hands to bust them
this tournament was the 7pm one... but sahara had them running at 11am and 11pm as well (the 11pm at 7pm overlapped)
once you get into town, i suggest you pick up a copy of cardplayer(casino edition), which was available in most every card room in vegas i visited -- at the back was a complete list of every regularly sheduled tourny going on in vegas
that should help you find your game
that was the ONLY tourny i played in, and spent most of my time crushing the $4/8 game @ MGM (the nicest cardroom i played in-- great service and atmostphere... just not much selection of games) if you check it out... watch out for a couple tough regulars, but most are loose passive fish or maniacs

Right on, good luck NH. Check out the Palms for great MTT's... at least they had great MTT's during the WSOP, not sure if they're still going. Mirage and Bellagio for sure, though.
...1 b&m $7500...however my $500 entry was paid by someone else so we split the cash.
I plan on playing at the Bellagio 2pm tournament on Tuesday Sept 13th @ 2pm. $500+$40. This is my 1st trip to Vegas. I can't wait.
