yeah, they guy's got millions and can't afford a decent hairpiece. He's the biggest egomaniac in the world and what's funny to me is these 'contestants' worship the ground he walks on. That right there shows me they're not that bright. And he's not even that rich to begin with, I'm sure most of his properties are heavily debt financed.
I didn't catch one second of 24 on TV during the entire first 2 seasons. Then I rented the Season 1 over the summer for something to do and couldn't stop watching it. I honestly watched all 24 epsiodes in a 36 hour timespan. And I rented season 2 as soon as it came out. And this year, I've been following it on TV. But its much much harder and fustrating than watching the DVD cuz you gotta wait the whole week for the next epsisode.
That's intersting, because I watched most of 24 season 2 last year on TV, then I missed an episode for some reason and waited to watch the rest of the season (in the correct order) on DVD. I guess I was used to the TV pace, so I found watching one or two episodes per day on DVD was a little *too* fast paced for me.
I guess you get used to the pace you originally see it at.
I like the suspense of waiting a whole week until the next episode. It really gives the endings some extra zing.
I always love how the most interesting stuff always happens to the characters within the 5 minutes before the hour.
Can't beat West Wing for my money ... the combination of humour and politics is entertaining ... some nights I can't tell if its a sitcom or a drama. I find this season moves a little faster than prior seasons ... although sometimes to fast for me.
i can't stand reality tv...altho the over-obvious laugh track on most sitcoms really bugs me too...
i guess most tv is less than entertaining to me...with a few exceptions...wsop, wpt, and the brady bunch...remember that episode where they made the house of cards to settle a family dispute...then tiger, the family dog, came and knocked it over?...good times...
