There was a clip of an American news anchor/commentary saying

"this is why the brits should have let the French have the Olympics, let them worry about people having bombs in their bags"

Who was that guy? He should be strung up and beaten until he apologises profusely.

Nah, thats the humour of the show. They're always saying and doing controversial things. If you didn't see this one episode they had someone dress up as hitler and walk through new york or soemthing.

no, no, no you misunderstood me. I LOVE the daily show, they showed an actual clip from a CNN (or fox) newscaster saying that comment.

lol yeah that was great .. after John was ripping into the whole partisan concept and how idiots like tucker and novak are the poster boys of making decisions without hearing the facts and basically making up theyr minds according to theyr parties stances ( this would be good for the " whos dumbest person on tv ? ANY REPUBLICAN IN THE STATES!! ) tucker said " i guess ur just ,much funnier on your show!" and john responded by saying " i guess ur just a dick anywhere! "
