  • That's incredible...the growth of poker & the WSOP over the last 3yrs is astounding. It reminds me of golf in the 90's when Tiger arrived on the PGA. The prize money leader would have won 1 million at year end. Now the winner of each tournament earns between $600K -$1M.

    I can't believe how many of the pros we see playing on TV have been eliminated on day 1. It goes to show that the odds of winning are extremely slim.

    Negreanu, Hellmuth, Reese, Doyle, Duke and many others are all done. As I said in another post don't be surprised if the final table is all relative unknowns.
