  • okay I did it and still found no books dedicated to cash games
  • Personally, I'd go with any of Sklansky's books for cash games. I'm sure there are other good one's, but he's pretty amazing. Hold em poker, and hold em poker for advanced players are both essential. He has a new one out dealing with low stakes games, but I haven't had opportunity to read it.

Unless it is a book dedicated to tournament poker, than it is by default a book for cash games. :)
  • cash games limit - get small stakes hold'em by ed miller. #1 IMO
no limit - potlimit and no limit poker by bob ciaffone and stewart reuben. (i'm still digesting it. I'm getting started in NL)
  • Why hasn't anybody recommended DAVE'S book

"Winning at Poker", essential hints & tips, Dave Scharf

Very well written, easy/good read, written by someone we all know.

    Rob
  • Interesting, I was just at Amazon.ca looking for Dave's book and they have that paired with HOH as a combo. I was surprised dave's book was so inexpensive. Any book for under $15 is a great deal.
