Personally, I'd go with any of Sklansky's books for cash games. I'm sure there are other good one's, but he's pretty amazing. Hold em poker, and hold em poker for advanced players are both essential. He has a new one out dealing with low stakes games, but I haven't had opportunity to read it.
cash games limit - get small stakes hold'em by ed miller. #1 IMO
no limit - potlimit and no limit poker by bob ciaffone and stewart reuben. (i'm still digesting it. I'm getting started in NL)
Interesting, I was just at Amazon.ca looking for Dave's book and they have that paired with HOH as a combo. I was surprised dave's book was so inexpensive. Any book for under $15 is a great deal.
