poker chip set

Hey,

I won a 300 piece chip set (i know there's some clay - chips aren't all that heavy), with decks, dealer button, and aluminum case. I have no use for the set and would like to sell it. The chips were bought online from a poker store for $300 USD. How would I go about selling the set in hopes of at least getting half or 2/3rds of the retail price? The chips have never been used....Also does it increase/decrease/or not affect the worth of the chips when there are values already on them, instead of no dollar values

thanks

  • Are they custom chips (ie. Paulson's) or are they made of gold?
  • This is a good photo of the type of set it is - the chips I have say are personalized as they say Bowmans Poker on them all
  • How do you know they have clay at all?

What are the weight of them.

You'll have a hard time selling a set of 300 in an aluminum case for$200 USD. Especially if you can't tell the potential buyer the actual weight and composition of the chips.

You can get a case of 500 at Costco with the case, cards, button etc.. for $45
