Casino Rama: $2-5 Limit

I plan on heading to Casino Rama this week for the first try at live limit holdem.

I was wondering if people knew when the best was to go? When do the fishes usually play and if they have long waiting list (if they do, how early should I get there).

Also, how much are single rooms there, if I am up enough, I may just stay so I can play the next day.

    nah, really... I usually go on saturdays. From my experience, they usually open new tables at or around noon. So as long as you're on the list within the first 20 or 30 names, you'll get in soon. By later in the day, the list can get long..

    How about tuesdays or wednesday? I was thinking about going around noon-ish? I'm not looking to sit at a shorthanded table, more like a full table, is this a good time to go?

    Anyone know where their shuttle buses are located (Sales Hours are closed until 830 am tomorrow)? Looking for the closest one to Scarborough Town Centre

    Before you leave call and ask for the Poker Pit, they will tell you what the action is like... however I have no idea how long it will take to get there from where you are going from so the info may not be any good.

    Do you know the actual number of the poker pit?

    I will most likely be heading out at 8am ish, and expect a 3hours traveling time by their bus ride

    Did anyone ever find out if you can call in and get your name added to the list at Rama, or what the number to call is? I'm thinking of going sometime July 1st or over the weekend right after (4 day long weekend at work :D ), but I'm guessing the waiting list will be long. I'm hoping it's possible to call in before I drive out there so I won't have to wait around the casino for several hours before I can play.

    They do if you are staying at their hotel, but this is likely not the case here.

    Don't worry, Waiting list is 30 minutes tops. Can usually get a seat quite quickly for the 2-5 games. the 5-10 is is different because they only have 1 game, same with 10-20, so that could be a 1-2 hour wait.


    There was a pretty hot Filipino girls playing on the 10-20 tonight, I would hit that!
