How do you play Limit vs No Limit? What differences/adjustments do you make in your game.. do you tend to hold out a little longer in Limit? Just curious how people approach the two
In limit you can usually get the correct pot odds to call with a flush or open ended straight draws, so I'll stay in as long as it isn't obvious someone made something better. I only play low limit, so I hardly ever bluff because even if someone hit bottom pair they'll call you to the river trying to catch trips or 2 pair (i got all this from Lee Jone's book "Winning Low Limit Hold'Em" btw). When I play no limit I just get much more aggressive. Obvioulsy bluffing works much better here, and you dont always need top pair with a good kicker to win a pot.
Overall, I play very straight forward in limit and try to be decieving in no-limit. I can raise preflop with monsters in low limit and everytime I get callers with trash. No oner ever seems to catch on.
(And if you were asking about higher limits, I have no idea)
