30 free memberships to the Cyber Poker League

Exactly the same as the Canadian National Poker League: www.cnpl.ca except it is intended for players from all over rather than Canadian. Looking to give it a jump start...hasn't even officially opened (note the lack of a logo which will change soon)

1st 30 folks who post here who are not already in the CNPL will get a free lifetime membership to www.cyberpokerleague.com 85% complete...15% under construction :)

    Is the CNPL really ready to handle a bunch of complete strangers exchanging money and more importantly, exchanging trust?

    Atleast with the CNPL, the participants are somewhat known (such that a friend of a friend of a friend could go kick a guys butt if he renegs)..

    They are going to be completely seperate entities (CNPL/CPL) and the complete strangers are going to be chopped down into smaller groups that are easier to manage. The CNPL will always be the CNPL :)

    Sorry, my concern wasn't about the CNPL getting polluted, but rather the new CyberPokerLeague getting overrun with angle shooters and scammers..

    I can fully appreciate where you're coming from. The idea if it should ever get to be large enough would be to spawn within the league into mini teams...like you may be team captain of "Team BBC" and would have your own qualifiers within your team. Kinda hard to exlplain, but planned out nonetheless for when the day comes.
