  • It's a great book also check out Aces & Kings by Brad Reagan
  • I just finished "The Professor..." and loved it.  Great, great read.  Haven't read "Aces and Kings" but I'll check it out.

Another great book I just finished is "Diary of a Mad Poker Player: A Journey to the World Series of Poker" by Richard Sparks.  Highly recommended... it's about a guy's attempts to win a seat online to the WSOP, etc.
  • "$500,000 and short stacked" Holy crap! :'(

That was a great excerpt, I just wish I had noticed it was only an excerpt. I was looking to find out what happened to the rest of his money. Very interesting read.
  • 400k in 20 minutes! Now that is what I call living large!!!!
  • i also have this book and must say it is a great read. combines great storytelling/writing with poker, what more could you ask for?! the writer is really talented and ive read some of his other works in a few different magazines. as far as gambling books that are not strategy related it is up there for me along with "Amarillo Slim: In A World Full Of Fat People" and "Bringing Down the House"<still my fave.
  • I'm dying to know what happens.
  • Me too, I've really enjoyed watching Ted Forrest play the 2 times I saw him on the teevee.
  • Just finished reading it! It's a very good read, very interesting and alot of fun. It's also not a very hard read either, I knocked it out pretty quick. I'd say its a must read for all poker enthusiasts. Definetly worth every penny :)
