Just throwing a post out here to see if anybody knows what kind of sattelites and multi table tourneys are out there at various poker sites for WSOP seats
once i got into the 'win a seat to the wsop' groove, i checked out a couple of sites, and qualified for 4 particular ones, 3 on Absolute Poker, and one one on PP.
i didn't nearly enjoy the PP as much as the AP (probably since i fared much better in the APs).
since there is a much lower volume of players on AP, i think the most participants out of the three satellites was 180, it never turned into a crap-shoot since the chip leaders could never accumulate the astronomical number of chips as in a much larger tournament.
with a 5th and 7th place finish, i decided to quit the qualifiers for this year, simply out of utter devastation from getting so close twice, and not even getting any left over money (2nd-4th place).
i would recommend sticking with a site that you find has the number of players entering these satellites in the range you feel most comfortable with...hell, you could even play single table qualifers on PP if you really want, just join the step promo at a level you can afford...
Pokerstars has this promotion where if you had a play money account and created a cash account, you could enter a qualifer with other new "cash" players. Seems like the best chance I'll have. I haven't played in it yet. But this Sunday I'm gonna take my one shot at it.
If I were trying to qualify, which I'm not because I have a stupid lame late birthday bah! I would be trying to do so through FullTilt! How can you beat their 10 million bonus if you win the main event? Hell it's not likely that you will win, but imagine if you did.... that extra 10 mil would be nice

Haven't been on UB lately, but they probably have something too.
Those are the only 2 sites I play on.
I have to think PS is the place to win your seat. Just gotta pick the right satellite. But don't ask me - I haven't come close to winning a seat
me either now prepping for wsop 2006 ???
