Brantford $5-$10
Went to BCC Sunday night. The poker room was packed. Surpisingly I was able to get on a table without waiting even a minute.
I waited a couple hands and got right into the action. Big mistake! My mind was elsewhere. Within 20 minutes it was clearly evident who the fish was. IT WAS ME. I had a brain cramp for about an hour and a half. I dropped $265 so quicly that my head was spinning. I was so embarrased at my play that I wanted to crawl under the table. I felt completely humiliated.
I decided that something drastic had to be done so I mentally slapped myself in the face, kicked myself in the balls and called myself a bitch! Damn! I scared myself silly. It was like the fight club at the poker room.
It seemed to work, I started playing tight and a few hours later walked away with a few bucks ahead.
The most bizarre moment that night occured when a friend of one of the players at our table sat down and started coaching his friend. I wasn't really paying attention nor could I hear what was being said. I actually thought that he sat down to play at our table. I realized what was going on when a female player at our table told the kid to beat it. The kid stood up and started to lip off. I couldn't believe it. The kid was advised that he wasn't even supposed to be in the room. Instead of leaving he actually stepped up his trash talking. He left when one of the players asked to speak to a manager.
If one of my friends pulled that kind of crap I would never step foot with him in a casino again. I hope the guy at our table gave his friend a smack upside the head for embarrasing him like that. The kid at our table was very quiet and very respectable. I felt sorry for him and everyone at our table informed him that we believed it did not reflect on how we thought of him as a fellow poker player.

Even a lost after something like that in your mental condition would be good.
Well played I must say
anyway definately in limit you gotta play tight or get lucky with loose calls, i started with 140 and doubled it but began getting cocky and went back to normal, did that again and lost it back to normal, then finally went up $350, played tight, and ended up with $300 + $140 (start) ........ you gotta be patient and tight, helps a lot if a friend is at the table otherwise your left with reading people when ur not in the hand and guessing peoples ages
I played for 7 hrs...the 1st few hrs were with a group of older more experienced players and the play was pretty tight. After that a younger group of players came and they played extremely loose resulting in some pretty big pots and players taking big swings both ways.
