CPF has is going to have it's own real online poker room in about 2 weeks from now The name will be announced when the site is complete...although some of you already know it....okay, so nevermind, it's SupremePoker.com going there now won't show you anything
CPF has a 40% ownership in the upcoming site. It will be opening before the end of the month with 100% certainty. Despite it being 40%, CPF has full control over the marketing of it and the events it will hold. I will also have complete administrative abilites to see player usernames, amount of time @ tables, rake paid etc.
What does this mean for CPF members?
A: Well, for one thing, we will have a home of our own. I hope for it to become the official home of CPF online member tournaments as well as CNPL qualifiers. It also means the added benefit of being able to offer FREEROLLS for CPF/CNPL members! The opportunities there are pretty exciting alone.
I want to stress that my intentions are to make this the most benefical to members as possible.
-The first event out of the gate being planned for the site is the Canadian Series of Online Poker. It is to be a $500 buyin event that will take place in August, but there will be daily satellites from late June until then so the goal is to get as many folks in there as possible without paying the full buyin. More to follow on this event.
-This has been keeping me very busy as of late. I've been doing QA on the site for quite awhile now getting over 73 action items corrected.
There is still a ton more going on/coming up. I'm sorry for any of you that have tried contacting me and have been waiting patiently, I am starting to get to those queries now and caught up. This was the reason I put the store liquidation on hold because I had to dedicate my time to this project.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have, I'll either answer here in this thread or directly via PM.
