Shannon - you are going to have a late night; and potentially an early morning (which given you were nominated as best in K-W, we will assume you will advance). Are you going to bother driving home or just get a room in Niagara? I guess there is also a third option of just playing BlackJack all night ...

Psi - are you from KW? What time were you thinking of leaving?

I'm in Milton, and I'm planning on being to the casino 2.5 hours early, just incase something happens and I get delayed.
So I want to be at Niagara at around 10(at the latest), which means leaving my house around 9am.
If you want to car pool, I'd be interested if you drove up to my area, however I believe my GF is coming to cheer me on, and I may stay late and watch a few people as well.

I am not thinking of staying over. I should be able to make it back home by dinner time (traffic permitting) regardless of the outcome.

I am probably going to take Hwy 6 down, which doesn't take me overly close to Milton. How hot is your GF? :P Just kidding, I am married. I am also planning to go early, probably leave here around 8 and go cheer on Rob (Zithal) and get a feel for how the play is going.

20, 21st. Then they have the semis (which include the West folk) on the 22nd and 23rd, with the Finals on the 24th.

I'm coming in from Thornhill (just north of Toronto) but heading in the night before. I have the first session and there is no way I am leaving at 4:00am to make it there for the 6:00am registration. Anyone sees me wearing the Witch Doctor shirt make sure to say hi and introduce yourselves. Good luck to all!!!

Guys, watch out there's another Pearce in the Tournament hahahaha.. My brother (Alex Pearce) finished in the Finals in BC and is heading to Niagara for the tournament. he's a sneaking bastard...he had 20% of the chips at his table to make the final and basically just put his blinds in until he made the finals...gave up playing AK suited, pocket J's, and did a minimal raise on pocket A's and everyone folded so he flipped them over and said "everyone has to play those cards"...

Good luck to all those that make the finals, I'm coming down to watch.

I'm up in Thorald now waiting to get up at way-too-early to head to the casino. Dropped by today and the Avalon Ballroom is not in the main casino area. Should be a blast and I'll be back that evening to give a first hand account of the action. Even if I don't make it to Day 2, I'm going to stick around on Monday and play some Hold'em.
