RIVER ROCK SOMEONE HELP!

WASSUP ALL YOU READERS OF THIS.

I am gonna be back in Vancouver next week before heading to Las Vegas, and am wondering wat the action is like there now.. What are the regular big games, and of course, did they fix the tourney structure yet?
Are the dealers better?

Thanks!!!!

  • During the week, the biggest regular game is 20/40 - it's running most nights. Friday and Saturday nights, there's a pretty decent chance a 40/80 and/or 50/100 will be spread. Biggest no-limit game is still the $500 buy in with 3/6 blinds, nowadays the most popular game in the place seems to be $100 buy in no-limit with 1/2 blinds.

Not sure what you mean by fixing the tourney structure, the blinds start small (25-25) and go up every 20 minutes or so. Dealers are a mixed bag, some are great and some aren't; there's lots of new dealers recently (since they expanded to 25 tables), most seem decent.
  • the tournament structure is a lot better now that they are running 20 minute rounds instead of 15 mins. Most of the tournaments havent been selling out lately though which is pretty shitty. May & June arent having $250+$20s :(

The dealers have improved alot over the past couple months as well.
  • well actually on a side note about the dealers at riverock...i played in th eearly bird tourney last thursday, and was steaming mad when the dealer accidentally flipped my second hole card over 4 TIMES IN A ROW!!, and giggled "oops, he he, sorry" in a cheerleader type way. it was the most annoying most unproffessional thing I have ever seen and I am still extremely mad about it, sorry I really had to let that out
