just wondering if anyone in the Toronto area read the article on Gavin Smith in yesterday's edition of Metro. Nice to see him get a bit of recognition as I believe he's the hottest player from Ontario this year. Rather ironically the day the article was published (yesterday) he advanced to the final table at the frist event of the WPT's Season 4, The Mirage Poker Showdown. Play resumes today and Gavin sits 5th behind, amongst others Teddy Forrest.

    Yeah, he won one of NL Prelim events too. Not a bad month for him at all.

    I think he had 3 miracle allins that caught his set on the river against overpairs. Lucky guy lol.
