PlayStation3

The trailers are intense. I'm gonna be playing video games well into my forties.

Sorry byt can't think of anything else to say. I so didnt need more gaming right now.

Damm that P3. Now i cant have a life.
  • yeah, between poker and when Battlefield2 comes out, I'm in a heap of trouble (in terms of seeing daylight again)
  • man i dunno which 1 Im gonna get ps3 or xbox 360, im leaning towards xbox360 since they have exclusive rights on the madden games an I can't live without madden !
  • probably get both..Xbox 360 is out in time for Xmas, then PS3 in the spring.
  • Ill get both too. But dont tell my girlfriend.

    :D
  • I must say that both nintendo and microsoft are really screwing up this E3..

Nintendo by having practically nothing to show other than a box in some developers hand and some crappy 'Super Mario Striker' soccer game.. or Nintendogs (yeah that'll sell well in NA)

and Microsoft for showing me zero games that make me want to buy a 360

Kudos to Sony for: Showing ingame footage with realtime cameras that looked JAW DROPPING.

Fanboy record: I own a cube and an Xbox. Have never owned a PS.
  • See, I learned a business lesson that I suppose doesn't impact the likes of Sony or Xbox?

It's called to "Osborne" yourself/your company. Named from a computer company out of Australia.

they'd release a computer and people would love it, but they'd say "If you think this model is great, you should see the one we're going to release in the spring!!!"

so of course, you're going to have consumers say: "Hrmmm...I was going to buy now, but I think I'll wait until Spring for that newer one"

Hence, no one would buy what you have now because you're making your existing product obsolete by your own mouth.

If you don't own an Xbox, would you buy one now knowing that something bigger and better is going to be out within 11 months?

I suppose what happens is, a competitor gives "verbal launch" to generate hype for an upcoming release, then competitors are forced to also go public to let everyone know that they aren't just lying down.

It's good for consumers, bad for companies.
