Cascade---- Nl vs 4-8 / 6/12
How do you find the play at the following limits? usaually im a NL player but i find if i bust out 200 bucks on the NL table i rebuy like a mad man.... Limit might control my swings a bit better.
Ive been a NL player since day one, i consider my self a pretty good player, many tournie wins, home games and of course casino/online play.
So i guess my question is, how do these games really differ? i know the basic's of course, are there allot of chasers on limit? expecially the 4/8 game. how do you play limit? loose? agressesive? can you even raise people out on limit games? Is it better to play tight? or to pay 8 bucks and play loose, and see allot of flops?

both the 4/8 and the 1/2NL at casscades are very loose 5-8 see the flop, if you like to play alot of flops and control your swings play 4/8 but play tight/aggressive.the 1/2 NL game is weak right now due to 4/8 player trying something new, they are chasing the same draws and over cards as in 4/8 but paying more for it.
if you would rather play NL, remember that the statagey for a ring game and a tournament are very different.
play with the patience of a saint, wait for a much better than average hand to start.
if your interested in playing more limit i recommened picking up
winning low limit holdem by lee jones and then
small stakes holdem by ed miller
ill even lend them to you next time i run into you.
