my husband has been playing at Paradise for a long time ..... i always had an account there, but only used it for play money..... my real money account is at poker stars. so poet came home and told me about this tourney, i didn't want to play, but he really wanted me to play. he was very hipped about this team canuck tourney. so i played and i have to say OMG ........... very exciting i was playing like a rock the whole tourney, i took a early lead before the 1st break i lost a major pot it hurt my stack. but i had the attitude that i did not care and just pulled myself together again. before 2 nd break i was in 4th, poet was in 1 st. by now i am starting to care ...... i wanna win this tourney....... i am the only female at the finale table and to me that is very exciting alone. poet raised my BB my heart rate is at about 130. lol ... i call him, he is trying to bully me as he often does even in our live games..... he had nothing i took it down. there are 3 of us left i am folding alot. i am hoping the other 2 take each other out. i get a hand i take out 3 rd place its now heads up. my daughter is watching..... i am freaking out..... i say to myself OMG OMG OK Nikki be happy with 2nd as i have been here many times and my game seems to fall apart at this point. i try to put him all in he folds ....... he does the same to me ... i fold ...... i say to myself give me a ace i will call anything ....... next hand ace 8 he goes all in i call..... i am behind he hits his jack and no ace for me BUT i need a 5 for a gut shot straight ...... the river comes OMG OMG it is a 5....... i win ..... i am shocked ..... i am screaming ......... daughter is laughing ....... I love poker

    I would like to point out that in the world of online poker in which there is often the fear of collusion, Nastyhorn busted her own husband!

    Congratulations. And, thanks for being an example of how poker is SUPPOSED to work. You're great. Ed is hard to miss, but make sure you introduce yourself at the Emerald. Not this week, though, I'm going to New York for a couple nights of cool jazz.

    I'm passing on the emerald this week as well, omaha isn't one of my fav's.

    This isn't the worse of it, Nasty also busted my CPT travelling partner. This apparently qualifies her to hop aboard and come to Edmonton? We all know three's a crowd. How would my poker partner sleep with all the crying that she would be doing, and no, it wouldn't be from me hitting her. :D She is so not coming..........RALPH OWNS
