Wild ride
The mohawk casino has changed the buy-in limits for their NL game and added a smaller game... Their 2/5 NL game now has a buy in of $200-$1000 (min/max) and they now have a smaller 1/3 NL game with a buy in of $100-$300. Last night there was 3 NL tables going, as the NL game continues to grow in popularity and destroy any selection of limit games. The only limit game that is spread now, with any staying power is bingo...errr... 3-6.
Anyway, on to more important subjects... I sit down in the 2/5 game with my regular $500... about hand 7 since I sit down I get TT in LP and make it 25 to go after 2 limper, blinds fold and the limpers call... flop comes 3TJ with two clubs... EP bets $20, MP calls, so I raise to $150, EP folds and MP calls. Hmmmm. Turn is the 4h... MP checks... I push it all in... MP calls instantly, and turns over JJ... Shyt!! Raise your hand if you think MP is an idiot!!! I get no help on the river...
RE-BUY!!!! $500
Very next hand... QQ... time to get some money back!!... EP limps, MP raises to $20... I just call... SB re-raises to $50, MP and I call. Flop is 3TQ rainbow... HA HA... TOP SET... let's make some money... SB bets $50, MP raises to $150... WTF do these guys have???.... who cares... I push my $450 into the middle... SB folds... MP calls... tables his KK... and of course gets a king on the river!! Double Shyt!!!
Hmmm... 8 hands, 15 mins... this is definately going to effect my hourly rate!!!

Then... I pick up the hand!!.... An EP raiser to $15... MP, LP call, I call from the SB... Flops comes 4 :d: K :h: Q :h: I check.... EP bets $20.... MP calls.... LP calls... I call... Turn: J
: I check... EP Bets $40... MP calls... LP folds... I call... River: 4 :h: .... I check.... EP bets $100... LP calls (all in $40)... I think for a while and then I push it all in... EP has me covered... EP calls instantly... proclaims "Flush no good" and turns over QQ... LP tosses the AT of hearts on the table... all heads turn to me... I roll 44...
