Poker camps

Hopefully I posted this in the right place ......... Anyone ever been to a weekend poker camp? The ones in the US ......Seems that Antonio Esfandiari is teaching alot of them. It's a little expensive, but sounds like fun. Just wondering if anyone's actually been to one, or if anyone's ever heard of camps right here at home.

    You'd probably get the exact same info if you fly down to vegas and offer to buy a pro dinner or something..

    Or maybe just pay $100 of an hour of thier time..

    Anyway, just floating alternative ideas..

    Another alternative idea:

    I thought that the DVD version of Howard Lederer's camp was surprisingly good. It's a 2 disc set called "Howard Lederer's No-Limit Holdem Fantasy Reality", and is simply footage from one of his poker Fantasy Reality camps in Vegas. While actually attending the camp is some insane1 price like >$2K (plus something like another $1K of tourney buy-ins), you can get a piece of one of the camps on DVD for something like $25 or $30 (US$).

    I can't get enough of that strikethrough.

    1Well, it's actually probably well worth it if you play poker at high levels.
