  • Typically, the ad exec who tried something new is fired and replaced with another generic schlopsky because the big risk wasnt immediately emminent.

If sales don't jump 200% in a week... well it must be his fault. Never mind that the product could be complete crap!

Yah, Id love to see something orginal.... but then again a nice rack behind all the letters well that works too....

apperantly Bodog.com is one of the fastest growing poker/gambling sites on the net... Im sure it has nothing to do with the fact the have alligned themselves with the street hustler 20+ image, wonder if they will have a 'jack the table' option soon?
  • I like the beaver waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than the leaf. But why is he only holding 1 card???
  • What about a moose. Mooses are Canadian. And, I know another group using beavers.

I am considering buying a three foot pluch beaver to sit on my lap at the WSOP as the team mascot. In important hands I will consult with the beaver. And, you gotta figure that any man with a plush beaver on his lap will be a distraction.
  • Okay, this was just too juicy a chance to misquote someone to pass up.

"I am considering... a... beaver... on my lap at the WSOP...

I... figure that... will be a distraction."

Let me go get my copy of Criminal Code...

  • ROFLMAO. Not how I pictured it at coffee, Dave
  • That's cool Tiger, can you send that to me in a larger format via email? (Need to fix the spelling of Discuss)

I think there still might be some confusion from some of the pm's I've been getting about the use of this ad.

You know when you're watching a show, and it goes to a commercial break, sometimes they'll show a static image of a corporate logo and will say:

"This show is brought to you in part by..."

Yeah, well that's what this is for.

Anyway, how is this for the script?

"World Poker Tour is brought to you in part by, PokerForum.ca, lifetime membership is free to one of Canada's largest poker communities. Find games in your area and discover poker from a Canadian perspective"
  • Too long, I think.

Brought to you by PokerForum.ca. It's free. It's all about poker. And, it's Canadian. PokerForum.ca, eh?
