What do you think of this idea...

I was thinkin about the idea of opening up a completely legal and fully functional sports book operation in Vancouver. I know there is no major public venue in vancouver where this is possible..I believe the possibilites that a place like this would have would be absolutely endless... The only problem is it would cost alot alot alot of money and need to much regulation as well as be sanctioned by all the major sports leagues. If I could do it, I would...too bad no casino in BC has gone the distance to open a sportsbook up.... *sighs* what a pipe dream

    Do you know the right people?
    I would expect that the wrong people would shut you down pretty quick. Ehem, the current bookies would probably be a little unhappy..

    haha lol yeah probabaly...it would take millions of dollars to set one up though ( the wires, endorsements, affiliations etc...)...you would need a casino to go in it prolly, you would also have to get it regulated and legal by BCLC.  It would take a hell of a lot of work, but if someone did , wow would they ever rake in the dough!
