Watched this film - "High Roller - The Stu Unger Story" yesterday. I rented it at Roger's video. It was awful. My buddy said it had an "STV" - Straight To Video. And for good reason - what a brutal movie.

Don't even rent it if you are like "Oh, it might be alright..." It's wrong, very wrong.

Really? I have pretty strict taste in movies, and I didn't mind it that much. That being said, I didn't expect much at all out of it.

I watched it and didn't find it that bad. I personally think the best scene was when he tried to call his opponents gin hand. I rented it on the local video stores 2 for 1 deal so it really didn't cost anything to rent. I don't expect much out of Dvd's these days so as long as it isn't awful it's gonna be ok.

I went to buy that movie at first but the Dvd was almost 40 bucks after taxes.

So i rent it first to make sure i didnt get screwed.

Best idea ever. Ive seen better acting in Survivor. I was watching this with friends and after about 20 minutes i was fighting them off the remote so i could see it to the end.

Some of them are still mad at me.

Shade is a pretty good movie. Good cast. I would recommend renting it or even buying it. I picked it up at WalMart for $8.
