gg stpboy

No, I won't be doing this every week, but this week was kinda special 'cause it was CNPL's very first qualifying event...and yup, STPboy came out the victor (after playing me heads up for what seemed like at LEAST 8 minutes)

STPboy will be playing in the $200+$15 $350,000 prizepool event this Sunday.

GL dude.

  • Congrats stpboy. Go Represent!
  • GL Shannon,

It will be a long haul but doable. :D
  • Thanks a lot guys, this one was kinda special being the first representative of the CNPL for a big tournament. I have to admit that there is some added pressure, which is great for me, knowing that my hopes lay with 4 other players. I can't wait and hopefully can bring some type of payday for us all. Name on stars is stpboy77 for the railbirds...

Almost.  An stp win in the Sunday PokerStars event pays the CNPL members who participated in the satellite.   :D
  • yes, my mistake.
what i was looking for, is for someone to use this first game as an example of how the numbers work.
ie. x many people bought in for $x...when stp wins, they will each get x% of what he wins....
    something like that

    thanks
  • Only 5 participated in the sat.
    Stp gets 50%
the other 4 get 12.5% each.
  • so, to sum up for the challenged :D (me), the player gets half, and the other half is divied up between the other members that played...got it.
  • congrats stpboy on your big win :s:
  • thanks for the link stp !
  • I believe it was posted 60% to winner
40% split between the rest who participated in the satellite.

how did you make out stpboy?
  • I think we are ironing out some of those details right now, seeing who would prefer to see at 60/40 split or 50/50 split. We decided before running this event that we would do 50/50. Please see this thread to see how I did... http://www.pokerforum.ca/forum/index.php?topic=3959.0 thanks for your interest, it'd be great if you joined. The more the merrier...and welcome to the forum. A few great first posts by you!
