    Hmmmm. I really wanna play. But this is the same day as Merry Xmas Madness. That starts at 2pm. And I historically don't make it deep there. May I sign up tentatively please? If my attendance makes the difference between this game running or not I am willing to bail on MXM for PLO etc. 4 > 2 ;)

    Shoot, just realized, I am going to Blue Jays Winterfest with grandkids. It ends at 5 pm DT T.O., so not sure I will be able to make it. Will be a decision at the last minute but don't count on me as to whether or not the game goes.

    Stampler is basically PLO8 but if there is no low qualifier on the board then the player with that has the highest rank of the suit of the river card wins the low half of the pot.

    For example, you are holding AcAs2c3s and the board reads AdKc9d4hTs. Since there is no possible low (i.e. there are not 3 cards 8 or under) the player with the highest spade wins the low half (since the river was the 7s). So you'd win with the As.

    It's a fun game for sure.

    Stampler is if no low possible than highest spade in the hole cards. Stumpler is just highest suit of river card instead. Very similar games.

    Stumpler - you don't know the suit until the river card if there is no low possible

    I am a little concerned about making it tomorrow, I'm heading to Blue Jays Winterfest that runs until 5pm via the Go. Was planning on leaving my vehicle at Oakville Go when I got back at around 6 and heading for Hamilton but am a little concerned about the snow which we may get. My decision will be made at the last minute. Sorry to do that but I can't control the weather. If it gets bad you may want to reschedule. Please update here if anything changes as I will also.
