That is a lot of money sitting in one room. it might be hard to find home games that don't have a rake because of the need for a secure location or security.. I have heard of NL200 games getting robbed before. If you are dealing with that kind of money it might be best to go to the casino. If i remember right the only reason home games are legal is because all money goes to the prize pool, if they take rake to pay for security it might have to be underground and you wont find that on here

Huh? He said limit...probably less than 25k on the table.
That's a lot of money to not have security!! I was aware he said limit I was just saying I have heard of NL200 games getting robbed. Maybe I'm over cautious but I would be worried from junkies or past players wanting a quick buck!
I thought he was joking. Games in Toronto at the trump or the Toronto Bellagio or bridge club have had hundreds of thousands on the table. Lots of other clubs with NL and PLO where there nobody shows up with less than 10k in their pocket.
haha its okay, I play live poker at casinos, to be honest I don't play much live at a casino more then I do at peoples houses but these are like 25c/50c cash games after a $50 tournament nothing huge. Just 100K sitting on a table in a place with no security would freak me out. Maybe I'm inexperienced and that this is normal but if this happens all the time with no issues it's surprising to me. I know people that will rob a gas station for $100 and a carton of cigarettes!!
So you are saying you are 100% comfortable with 100K in 1 room and absolutely no fear of being robbed? I'm just saying to me it would just be common sense to be aware of that! Again maybe I'm too fresh Just seems like a lot of money in 1 room to not worry about some kind of security, but again just my opinion!
