The NSOP events are not as good value as the weeklies and previous series, so I'll stick to the cash games this time. I'll try to rail you and any other forumer playing if/when you go deep.
had a blast today. Made it till the beginning of level 12 there were about 90 left out 448 day 1a starters.
pretty uneventful till just before dinner. During level 8 I had 50,000 and the average was 54,000. I was in the big blind with 10-3 off and guy minraised to 2000. I was big blind and already in for 1000 plus my ante.
i called and the flop came 10 10 K . Mmmmmmmm. Juicy
the bets 6500 into a 6k pot. I called.
turn is a 3 I bet 6500 and he raises me to 14,000. I shove he snaps with Ace King. Ace on the river but I double up to just under 100,000.
dinner comes..... I loose credit card roulette.....only 3 of us but bill was still stoooopid.
a couple hands after dinner I get pocket Aces. Guy had raised from 1200 to 3800 everyone folded and I raised to 9800.
he calls and the flop comes A 10 J. He shoves I snap call and cry when I see the KQ for a flopped straight. Queen on the turn and brick on the river.

i was down to 40,000. Blinds are now 1000 2000-2000 ante and I get AK on the button. A guy raises to 6500 and I call. Flop comes A 9 6 guy shoves I snap call and I am on my way to the valet to get my truck when he flips over his pocket nines.
the structure in my opinion went up at a very reasonable rate. There was lots of play and I was happy with making it as far as I did with the table draws that I had . Was on 4 different tables and I felt like I was the worst player at 3 of the tables.
example...... I had peter chain, Jason James, buck Ramsey, James witkowski, Ryan rivers, Andy spears, DJ macinon, David ormsby, max drouge......all of these guys are murderers at the pokerz. So given my table draws I was happy with making it past dinner break.

Smurf tried to commit smurficide when we got home, but I saved him just in time.....
