After spending most of 2018 renovating our house and then moving, it’s been far too long since I hosted a game. I have the tables set up at the new place and figured I would ease back in with a No Limit tourney.

So let’s see if there’s interest!


$80 NL Hold Em Tournament
Burlington - (Walkers Line near Hwy 407)

Doors at 6:30PM, Saturday Feb 2.
Cards in the air at 7:00 sharp
*Players paid by 6:55PM will receive an extra 1000 chip*

Payouts based on number of players
4-8 Players: 1^st 80% 2^nd 20%
9-11 Players: 1^st 55% 2^nd30% 3^rd 15%
12-14 Players: 1^st45% 2^nd 29% 3^rd 17% 4^th 9%
14-18 Players: 1^st42% 2^nd 27% 3^rd 17% 4^th 8% 5^th6%

Starting Stack: 24,000 Chips
Tournament will be structured to last approx 5-6 hours
Big Blind will post the ante

$.25/$.50 Cash game to follow
Round by Round: No Limit Hold Em & Pot Limit Omaha
Maximum Buy In: $100 or up to 50% of largest stack

All games are rake free.

Is the cash game 25/50/5.00 like normal..? IN! Maybe Cory would like where you are better. At least there are "normal" pizza places there..

I will allow cats... maybe even rabbits....

But can confirm any gerbils arriving at the tournament will become food for the real pets

Thanks Andrew. The drive to the 401 was slippery, but I went slow and didn't have any problems. I did pass a couple of big dents in the snowbanks, one abandoned car in the snowbank and another two that seemed to have spun out, but a police car was on scene. As I continued on, a tow truck and ambulance passed me headed to the accident. However the rest of the drive was all good.

Congratulations Compuease on the win.

Andrew - thanks for a great evening. You did a terrific job organizing it and it was a great group of people to play a bit of poker with.

Oh, and congrats to the old guy. How did you make out taking over my seat in the cash game?

Andrew, thanks for a very fun night . Congrats to Comp for winning the tournament. The cash game was crazy fun and at the end of the night the accounting went like this....

Tournament buy in. $80
cash game buy in. $300

cash out at end of night . Exactly $380.00


but wait..... after deducting the $20 bounty I put on D.J. And $ 5 bounty bonus I put on D.J. To make him cry........

i ended up down $25 at the end of the night.

best 25 bucks I ever spent. Thanks waltsfriend for kicking D.J. Right in the niblets and taking his stack of chips.
